Tonight, we awaken the Temple of Venus with pounding drums, joyful voices, dancing feet, and grateful hearts. 

Continuing the spell begun at Beltane, we’ll set the weekend’s intentions and create a sacred space where we can experience play, healing, and ecstasy throughout the Fires of Venus.   Be there as we take a risk that opens our hearts in loving offering to Venus.

Come ready to sing, drum, dance, play, make love, bear witness, get freaky, go deep, embrace the moment, and above all, take the risk to be fully present at this opening ritual, the first of three Fires of Venus.

Take a Breath
Friday

Last night, we took a risk within the Temple of Venus, knowing it is the key to experiencing greater love.  So tonight, we take a breath to prepare ourselves for the unknown road ahead.

Using tantric breath techniques, we’ll ready our minds and spirits for tomorrow night’s adventure to embody love.  What new heights does your spirit want to reach?  What old patterns and beliefs do you need to let go?  Where do you need healing?  What emotions yearn for free expression?  What new places do you want to open so you can truly walk a path of love? 

Though the answer is different for each of us, sharing the practice of breath will help us all open to deeper, more expansive Love.  Bring comfortable clothes and blankets to lie upon.  Bring your joy, your pain, your hopes, your fears, your willingness, and your entire authentic being to the second of three Fires of Venus.

Take the Adventure

On this climactic night together, we celebrate the adventure that is walking the path of Love. We’ll walk in the footsteps of Venus, following this path as individuals, as a community, and as devotees of Love itself.

Will Fires of Venus radically change the way we move through life?  How can we bring love into our everyday actions? How can we reach out to the world with Love? When we leave the sacred space of this festival how will we continue to walk the path?

We’ve supported each other in taking a risk.  We’ve prepared ourselves by taking a breath.  Tonight, we’ll start the adventure together.  The rest, Venus-lovers, is up to you.

This will be the fourth year of magic at FoV, and we aim to build on what we've created and learned over the past three years:
