Thanks to all attendees and staff for a wonderful event! We sold out this year, and we will once again cap the attendance for next year at 175. We will not be selling day (vampire) passes for 2010, so start planning your calendar around it now!

New in 2010 will be the ability to be a part of the Temple Builders team, arriving on Wednesday at noon and helping to erect our Fire Temple and decorate it. You'll get the experience of being part of a community of people who put that much extra energy into the event, an opportunity to enjoy our low-key staff and temple-builders' fire on Wed night, and a badge that shows all other attendees you helped make the event happen.

Also, in 2010, we're introducing a new concept. You'll be invited, when you register, to choose a group to be a member of, for example, Air, who would work on both the practical matter of smudging people into the Temple and also on issues of communication. The groups available will include Air, Fire, Water, Earth, Affection, Dreams, Secrets, Surrender, Guardians, Cauldron, Eternal Flame, Drummers and Bonfire. There will be a limited number of spots available for each group, so you should plan to register early for the best selection.

Your group will meet each morning to discuss that night's ritual and do some fun activities together. In the afternoon, you'll have an opportunity to visit the other elements and temples and enjoy workshops and discussions about various topics. Then, in the evening, you can come together with your group to be a part of the ritual, itself, and not just a spectator. We hope you will find this opportunity to be even more a part of the Fires community a real improvement.

The a la carte mealplan has gotten mixed reviews, so we'll be considering how to improve upon it. Most people thought the food quality, overall, was better, so we'll be looking to consider keeping on the chef the camp hired for us.

Welcome to the dream.

You close your eyes and the next thing you know you're in a place outside of the world of the everyday. Here, the sacred and the profane coexist peacefully. Spirit and body are equally respected. The heart is engaged. Healing is possible. Catharsis is a worthy goal. And all of this surrounds a sacred fire fed by the energy of the dancers, drummers and others.

The same team that brings you the Sacred Sexuality Beltane in May invites you to join us for another opportunity to tap into the sexual spirit of our community. At this adult-only event, many of the same fine presenters we bring to you at our Beltane event will join us once again to share topics related to spirit of Venus and experience the spark of creation that allows for change.

During the day, experience our fire- and sacred sexuality- related workshops and discussions and play on the lovely grounds of Ramblewood Retreat Center. In the evening, enjoy the fire as the centerpiece of our work. We'll have a BDSM playspace and our wonderful Sexperiments space. Plus the opportunity to bring your play, whatever flavor it may be, to the fire and experience the energy of the rhythm and the heat.

Last year's event was, in the words of attendees, transformative, incredible, fantastic, transcendent and more. To read testimonials from some of our attendees, click here.

Many of us feel that our Beltane event and this event are very intertwined in many ways. This year, we chose to hold a simple version of one of our Fires of Venus at Beltane. To read a remarkable description of our work at Beltane which will lead us up to Fires, click here.

***Fewer than 35 spots are left as of August 1!***
